Olofinjana doesn’t expect Hull City struggle

Seyi Olofinjana doesn’t expect Hull City Football Club to struggle this season.

The 29-year-old midfielder has completed a £3million move to the KC Stadium from Premier League rivals Stoke City, after rejecting the chance to join Monaco.

Although the Tigers retained their top-flight status last season, this was due to a good start as results were poor after Christmas, but Olofinjana is convinced there will be no struggles this term.

"This is wonderful for me. A lot was said about me going to Monaco, but I'm very glad I have made this move,” he told the official club website. "Football for me is all about progress.

“I haven't just come here to make up the numbers, I'm here to play my part and help take this club to the next level. I don't feel as though I have joined a club that is going to struggle.

“I'm sure the club has moved on from what happened last season and lessons will have been learnt. We want to play good football here and that is why I have come.

“I like to pass the ball around and enjoy myself on the field."

That is the kind of arrogance that will get you relegated, i think that hull will be a very strong candidate to be relegated, as of now they are definetly in the bottom 3 along with burnley and portsmouth
