Beckham happy to hand England baton to Theo
David Beckham has no problem with making way for Theo Walcott in the England side.
The former Manchester United ace won his 106th cap for England in the 5-1 win over Kazakhstan on Saturday, although he did so as a second half substitute.
The main reason Beckham finds himself out of the starting line-up is the form of Arsenal's Walcott on the right-flank, but the LA Galaxy veteran has no qualms about making way for the 19-year-old.
"Theo has been great and he played well again. You can see what a threat he is every time he gets the ball and runs at players," said Beckham. "There is no one that can get near him.
"He deserves to be where he is, and I hope he carries on - because he is an exceptional talent."
