Belhadj invites Tottenham Hotspur bid
Nadir Belhadj admits he would relish a move to Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
The Algerian international was a virtual unknown in England when Harry Redknapp brought him to Portsmouth last summer, in a loan deal from Lille.
It has been reported that the former Pompey manager now wants the 27-year-old at White Hart Lane, and this is a possibility being warmly welcomed by the player.
"All I know is that Redknapp has been behind my coming to Portsmouth and he has confidence in my skills,” said Belhadj. "I could not refuse an offer from Tottenham, especially if it came from Redknapp."
The thought of losing the fullback will be a worrying one for fans at Fratton Park, who have already seen Peter Crouch and Glen Johnson depart since the end of last season.
