Gianfranco Zola is delighted to get Radoslav Kovac to West Ham United on a permanent deal.

After impressing on loan at Upton Park last summer the Czech Republic international has completed a permanent switch to the Hammers from Spartak Moscow, for an undisclosed fee.

"He's a player that last year did very well for us and he's a good player for us. He's got experience, he's got charisma, good personality and he'll be an important player for us," Zola said.
