Barcelona have been linked with a shock move for Emmanuel Eboue.

Whilst the Camp Nou giants are set to accept defeat in their pursuit of Cesc Fabregas, they may still raid Arsenal to lure the Ivory Coast international to Spain.

"It is an honour to be linked with the best team in Europe, that means I am valued by people,” Eboue, who endured a difficult time last season, told skysports.com.

"I have lost my Arsenal place, and, while the papers talked about Fiorentina, nothing happened, so I don't know about Barcelona. Let's wait and see."
