Hodgson hoping to finalise Fulham deal for Duff
Fulham Football Club’s Roy Hodgson hopes to clinch a deal for Damien Duff in the coming days.
The Newcastle United winger is undergoing a medical with the Craven Cottage club, who will pay a fee in the region of £4million to sign the Republic of Ireland international.
“He's having a medical," he told Sky Sports. "If all goes well I'm hoping the details will be finalised both on his personal contract and the details between ourselves and Newcastle.
"I'm hoping that will be finalised at the beginning of next week and, all being well, I'll be able to tell you he's a Fulham player next week. I'm very hopeful we'll have Damien with us."
