Bolton Wanderers confirm Taylor deal
05:40 PM 19 August, 2009
Gary Megson has confirmed Matt Taylor has signed a new deal at Bolton Wanderers.

The 27-year-old has been a huge success for the Whites since joining from Portsmouth in January of last year, and his new deal keeps him at the Reebok Stadium until the summer of 2012.

"Matt is a hard working player who always gives his all,” Megson told the official club website. "He scored 10 goals for us last season and is a big influence with his set-pieces and work-rate.

"He had a key role to play last season and will have again this season. He is another member of the squad who leads by example. I'm sure he can go from strength to strength at the club."

Now all the signing of contracts are out of the way for our key players, Negson can you please turn your attention to adding to a weak squad. OUT - McCANN, AOB,SHIITU (If we have to, feel sorry for guy not given a chance by the Clown in charge) INN- BECKFORD, NUGENT, O'NEIL(BORO),HARPER(READING),DAVENPORT,JACK CORK (ON LOAN)or MARK BEEVERS(SHEFF WED) and one last ditch attempt for BODDE. Both Beckford and Nugent would be gooa additions to our front line and we still need creativity in the middle of the park to feed the front two and a replacement cb. I saw VELOSO score a cracking goal last night and VUKCEVIC too, I wish!!! We need to add are we will be in troble this season. Come on Negson 11 days left the clock is ticking faster.....
