Frank Lampard is delighted to have equalled Jimmy Greaves’ goalscoring record for Chelsea.

The midfielder scored from the penalty spot in the Blues 3-1 win over Sunderland on Tuesday night, which was his 132nd goal for the Londoners and puts him joint fifth in the all-time club chart.

"I'm delighted with that," the England international told the official club website. "Jimmy Greaves is a goalscoring legend and I'm sure he did it in a lot less games than I did.

"I'm very pleased and just want to keep on scoring goals for Chelsea, especially important ones that help us win games. I'm much more proud of winning Premier Leagues and FA Cups with Chelsea."
