Blackburn Rovers tipped to enter Huth race
11:00 AM 21 August, 2009
Blackburn Rovers Football Club could yet enter the race for Robert Huth.

The defender looks set to leave Middlesbrough this summer, following the Teesside club’s fall from the Premier League to the Championship last season.

Huth is keen to secure a transfer to boost his chances of making the German World Cup squad, after getting recalled during the course of the 2008/09 campaign.

Rovers could be about to lose Christopher Samba to Everton, Manchester City or Tottenham Hotspur, and Sam Allardyce reportedly wants the Boro ace as a replacement.

Why move from a club that are going to have a graet season to one that is going to be battling relagation all year. How does that swap enhance prospect for the world cup?
