Huddlestone hails Tottenham Hotspur strength

Tom Huddlestone believes Harry Redknapp’s Tottenham Hotspur Football Club have as good a squad as any side in the Premier League.

Redknapp shook up his starting eleven for the trip to Doncaster Rovers in the Carling Cup on Wednesday, as he looked to make the most of his pool of players.

The likes of Jamie O’Hara, Giovani dos Santos, Kyle Naughton and Peter Crouch were given rare starts, and the Londoners responded with a 5-1 hammering of their Championship opponents.

"Man for man we've proved we've got one of the top three squads,” said Huddlestone, who scored in the rout. "It's about finding the consistency and not resting on our laurels, we've got to kick on now.”

Sammy, looks like he'll get his chance now that Luka is injured very similar player and would do great in modric's position. I agree he's great but hasn't been given the chance to shine, maybe a few games under his belt will bring the best out in him.

sam spurs. you dont need torres what did he do against u in your 2-1 win? NOTHING. bassong and king were solid. if anything u need to give dos santos a chance im a big fan of his. when i lived in spain i was a regular at the nou camp and trust me when i tell u hes the bollocks. if selected he will earn u an extra 12 points a season hes that good. sam addinall leeds till i die

Kind words andy, I agree with everything you said but realistically top four!!! Hmm very doubtful, it would be great though. About that striker?? can we borrow Torres for the season. You can have him back next season......

i am liverpool fan but i cant see why tottenham cant break the top 4 this season the squad looks strong but maybe need a top striker who will score 20 to 25 goals maybe a top left back and maybe another top player like modric then cant see why not maybe top keeper as well maybe Kompany for centre back Guilhmere for left back frmo almeria kerrison or someone like that maybe sell the russian dont think keane will get ya 20 goals now think he lost abit off confidance when joining us we didnt really need him
