Eboue ready to commit to his beloved Arsenal
12:00 PM 28 August, 2009
Emmanuel Eboue looks set to stay at Arsenal Football Club.

The Ivory Coast international has been linked with moves to Barcelona and Fiorentina this summer, after enduring a difficult 2008/09 season at the Emirates Stadium.

However, with the transfer deadline edging ever nearer, Eboue now looks set to remain with the Gunners, after he held discussions with coach Arsene Wenger.

"The boss has given me some confidence, my friends helped me a lot and now I feel very well when I play," said the player. "Last season I wanted to give my best on the pitch.

“It was different but I have forgotten about that and this season I want to give my best. I'll wait [for a new contract] but if they want me to sign I will sign because I love this club."

Eboue has seen that Arsenal are playing better football without ADE & Kalo. If he wants to piss off he can. He knows Arsene will say to him please close the door on the way out.
