Hull City Football Club are bracing themselves for bids to sign Michael Turner.
Sunderland are expected to make an offer of £6million for the defender before the transfer deadline, but Phil Brown insists the Black Cats are not the only club showing interest.
Speaking after his side drew at Wolverhampton Wanderers 1-1, the Tigers manager revealed he still hopes to keep the 25-year-old Turner at the KC Stadium.
“Is that his last game? I don't know. It might be. It might not be. When people start talking silly money, sometimes you have to listen,” he said. "We are in the year of the silly money, the silly bids.
“The world has gone crazy, paying £25million for centre-halves, so maybe you have to listen. As far as we are concerned, it is not only Sunderland. There are two or three clubs interested.
"The battle to hold on to Michael Turner will be ever-increasing for the next 48 hours. Whether Michael Turner is a Hull player at the end of the international break, remains to be seen.”
