Ben Haim lined up to replace Distin at Portsmouth
Tal Ben Haim could be on his way to Portsmouth Football Club.
The Israel international was one of Mark Hughes’s first signing as Manchester City manager, but he has since fallen well down the pecking order at the mega-rich Eastlands side.
Ben Haim had a spell on loan at Sunderland last term and it looks as though his days at City are over, as he enters talks with Pompey over a move to Fratton Park.
Paul Hart has just lost Sylvain Distin to Everton in a £5million deal, and it looks as though the Frenchman could be replaced by the former Bolton Wanderers and Chelsea centre-half.
