Leeds United Football Club have signed Leigh Bromby.

Whites manager Simon Grayson has announced at the weekend that he hoped to take the defender to Elland Road ahead of the transfer deadline, and a deal has now been agreed.

Bromby only joined Sheffield United last season on loan, and although the deal was made permanent this summer, he has been allowed to leave Bramall Lane.

The 29-year-old has penned a four-year deal with the League One club, who have made a fine start in their bid to clinch promotion to the Championship this season.
