Leadbitter leaves Sunderland for Roy Keane reunion
Grant Leadbitter has agreed a move to Ipswich Town Football Club.
The 23-year-old had fallen down the pecking order at Sunderland following the arrivals of Lee Cattermole and Lorik Cana, and he was keen to seal a move before the deadline.
Roy Keane, who managed the player at the Stadium of Light, was eager to be reunited with him at Portman Road, and Sky Sports claim the midfielder has now completed the move.
It is believed Leadbitter has penned a three-year deal with the Championship side, who have made a slow start to the season after being considered one of the promotion favourites.
