Paul Scharner is impressed with Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club’s deadline-day signing.

The Wigan Athletic midfielder has seen his Austrian compatriot join Wolves from Rapid Vienna, and he is backing the giant striker to become a hit at the Molineux club.

"It is great that this move has taken place," Scharner told Die Krone. "Wolves are a team that play with a lot of crosses and high balls. He will certainly make an impact there."

“I do not believe he will be an outright starter for Wolves. They need to give him time to adjust. Still, I think he is free to impress if he makes use of his power."
