Nyron Nosworthy could be heading out of Sunderland Football Club later this month.

The transfer window may have been and gone with the 28-year-old remaining at the Stadium of Light, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he will see out the year at the Black Cats.

After signing Michael Turner, Paolo Da Silva and John Mensah in the summer, Steve Bruce is willing to offload Nosworthy to a Championship side on loan.

It remains to be seen which clubs will be interested in taking the former Gillingham player, but it would be a surprise if there weren’t a few enquiries for his signature.
