Peter Kenyon is sure Joe Cole will stay at Chelsea, despite reported interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
The England international has been out of action due to an injury picked up in January, and he is due to be out of contract at the end of the current season.
Harry Redknapp is said to be interested in talking the player to White Hart Lane, but Kenyon is sure Cole, who is close to making a return, will sign a new contract at Stamford Bridge.
“Joe is just back in training and we are all delighted to see that," the Blues chief executive told the Evening Standard. "We want, and he wants, to remain at Chelsea."
