Portsmouth refuse to rush Dindane
10:02 AM 06 September, 2009
Paul Hart won’t rush Aruna Dindane into his Portsmouth Football Club plans.

The Ivorian striker has moved to Fratton Park from Lens in a loan deal, but the player is still carrying a knee injury which will prevent Hart from rushing him into his struggling side.

"Dindane has trained but he hasn't played that much, so he is going to have to get some fitness in," Hart told The News. "He has not played for a while, but looked sharp in little bursts.

“He knows his own body but he knows he needs to do some work. I don't know if he'll play this month. We've got to be conservative with a player who hasn't played for quite a while.

“You can't just stick him into a game because there are different stresses and strains. He is a handful. You need more than three strikers in the Premier League and we've now got five."
