No Tottenham Hotspur regret for Boateng
Kevin-Prince Boateng insists he has no regrets over leaving Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.
The midfielder has left the high-flying Premier League side to join Portsmouth on a three-year deal, after the Fratton Park outfit agreed to pay a fee of £4million for his signature.
Although Spurs have ambitions of gatecrashing the top-four this season whilst Pompey would be happy to finish 17th, Boateng insists he has no regrets about making the switch.
"I think for me it's a great move. I'm very happy," he told The News. "When you see the quality in training, we have a lot of players with experience, a lot of young players.
"They want to show they are hungry so I know we just need to stick together and show we are a real team. I couldn't really show it at Spurs - now is my time to show people.
“It was a tough time for me at Spurs. I always train hard and give my best but it didn't work out. You just have to get a new chance to show what you can do.
"I had the whole pre-season with Spurs. I never really had the chance to show what I can do, and I hope I can get the chance at Portsmouth now and show people."
