Dave Kitson has heaped the praise on Stoke City Football Club’s fans.

The clubs record signing from Reading endured a difficult debut campaign at the Britannia Stadium, and ended up returning to his former club to see out the end of last term.

However, he has returned to the Premeir League a different man this season, and after hitting the winning goal against Sunderland recently, he has praised the Potters faithful.

"I've never heard a bad word from them, I've never had arguments with them and all they say to me is positive things,” Kitson told BBC Radio Stoke. “They're brilliant.

“They're honest people and they're decent people. If you're wearing a Stoke shirt, they want to see you do well for their club, no matter who you are, and when you do, the world is a happier place."
