Peter Halmosi has revealed his pride as Hull City Football Club take the Premier League by storm.

The Tigers are third in the Premier League after a remarkable start to life in the top-flight, which has seen them pick up maximum points on the road at Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

"I'm very proud that - at least once in my life-time - I can say that I am a member of a team which is third in the Premier League,” Halmosi, a summer signing at £2million, told Sky Sports.

"Hull are new-boys and have never played in the highest league but we are ahead of such star teams as Arsenal or Manchester United. Winning against Arsenal in London was another very special feeling.

“I live through huge things here that I'll never forget. Fortunately I feel the trust and appreciation of the club, my manager and my team-mates."
