Crouch issues Tottenham Hotspur warning
Peter Crouch accepts Tottenham Hotspur Football Club face many battles ahead, following their excellent start to the Premier League season.
The Londoners have won their opening four games of the new campaign, playing some superb football along the way, but Crouch believes other clubs will have taken note of their quality.
"You can play great football like we did at Hull City (a 5-1 win), but sometimes you have to dig in and get a result and that's what we did (against Birmingham City, a 2-1 victory), he said on skysports.com.
"Teams realise we've got a lot of quality and they will perhaps sit back with one up front and try to nick a goal. We've got to expect that and overcome that and if we keep going, we can get the results.
"You have to look at the teams who win titles, Manchester United, Chelsea - they play fantastic football but sometimes they dig in and win 1-0, even at home."
With Crouch’s comments in mind, does this mean he think Spurs genuinely have a chance of winning the title if they can copy United and Chelsea by digging in for 1-0 victories?
