Grimsby have sacked manager Alan Buckley from his third spell in charge with the Mariners fifth from bottom of League Two.
"It is with regret that the board of directors have decided, due to a run of poor results, to relieve Alan Buckley of his duties," said a club statement.
"Alan has been a fine ambassador to the football club."
