Diego Tristan has completed his move to West Ham United Football Club.

After being released by Italian side Livorno, the former Spanish international was available on a free transfer and the Hammers have swooped after he impressed on trial.

Tristan, best known for his time at Deportivo La Coruna, told the official club site:

"I am really happy to be at West Ham. They are a big club and London is a great city. I want to show the fans that I can score goals and help the team go up the league. I am excited to be here."
