Vladimir Weiss hopes to make the Manchester City Football Club squad this weekend.

The 19-year-old Slovakian international is rated as a huge talent by the Blues, who gave him his Premier League debut as a substitute during the end of last season.

Weiss impressed during the recent 1-0 friendly win over Barcelona, and reports suggest he could be in contention to make the first team squad for this weekend.

"I'm just going to concentrate on my game. I'm going to work hard and hopefully I'll make the squad," said Weiss ahead of the visit of Arsenal to Eastlands on Saturday.
