Guillermo Franco has agreed a one-year deal at West Ham United Football Club.

The 32-year-old Mexican international is available on a free following his release from Villarreal, and he claims to have agree a one-year contract with the Hammers.

"The contract is until June even though in principle West Ham wanted it to be a two-year contract," said Franco, who was said to have undergone a medical on Friday.

"We wanted it only to be a year. Then we will see, above all because the World Cup is coming up and we hope to qualify. After the World Cup we will see what will happen."
