Arsenal refuse to take Rosicky risk
08:40 PM 13 September, 2009
Arsene Wenger is refusing to take any risks with Tomas Rosicky.

The Czech Republic international has been out for eighteen months with hamstring problems, but he started for his country against San Marino in midweek.

Despite the 4-2 loss to Manchester City on Saturday Rosicky impressed by scoring once and setting the other goal up, but Wenger is refusing to take risks with his fitness.

"It is good to have Tomas back but he is not completely fit to play in top-level competition yet," he said. "He has quality. We know that. He is a top-class player.

“We have missed him for 18 months. We have rushed him back before and he has had setbacks, so it is important to be patient and not put too much pressure on him."
