Brede Hangeland is ready to discuss a new deal at Fulham Football Club.

The Norwegian international was heavily linked with Everton, Manchester City and, in particular, Arsenal, during the summer transfer window.

However, the 28-year-old remained at Craven Cottage, and he has revealed that he is ready to sit down and discuss an extension to his existing contract.

"We are hopeful we can sit down and work something out, and I am certainly very keen on that," Hangeland told the Daily Star.
