Titus Bramble is sure Wigan Athletic Football Club will soon be on the up.

The Latics have just six points from their opening six games of the new season, and currently sit in fifteenth place in the Premier League table.

Bramble is sure progress will be made sooner rather than later, and believes the club are simply in transition following the summer appointment of Roberto Martinez as boss.

"We are still adapting to the new manager, it's still a transitional period, but if we work hard I'm sure we'll improve," said the former Newcastle United defender.

"We just didn't get properly started and if that happens against a team like Arsenal (0-4), then you're going to get punished and that's what happened."
