Sunderland Football Club will make another move for Maynor Figueroa in January.

Steve Bruce introduced the Honduran international to the Premier League last year, when he signed him from Wigan Athletic on loan before making the move permanent.

The Black Cats boss returned to his former club in the summer in a bid to be reunited with the player, but he was met with a rejection from the DW Stadium side.

However, the Sunday Sun believe Bruce hasn’t given up hope of landing Figueroa, and will make another bid for the left-back when the window opens in the New Year.
