Simon Grayson has fired a warning to Liverpool Football Club.

Rafael Benitez takes his Reds side to Leeds United in the Carling Cup on Tuesday night, and the manager of the League One club has warned them to expect a mighty tussle.

“We are in great shape,” said Grayson. “I want them to enjoy themselves because they will not get many better chances to express themselves against the best players in the world.

“Nobody expects us to win apart from the Leeds fans in the ground and us in the dressing room. We feel that ¬regardless of who we are playing at home we can beat them.”
