Sunderland expected to keep Healy
09:30 AM 22 September, 2009
Sunderland Football Club are expected to keep hold of David Healy.

The Northern Ireland international striker has been heavily linked with a loan move in recent weeks, with Coventry City and Watford both interested.

However, a report in the Journal claim Roy O’Donovan, who has joined Southend United on loan, will be the last departure from the Stadium of Light this year.

Healy is down the pecking order in Steve Bruce’s plans for the Black Cats, particularly following the summer arrivals of Darren Bent and Fraizer Campbell.
