Nicky Barmby has called for Hull City Football Club to get back to basics.

The Tigers have lost four of their six Premier League games this season, and after being hammered 4-0 to Everton at home in the Carling Cup, these are worrying times.

"We need to get back to the basics of this club," said Barmby. "The traditions of the club were of a good, hard-work ethic during games.

“It is down to us as players, it is roll your sleeves up time. That has got nothing to do with the manager, we need to start doing it as players."
