Peter Storrie insists Portsmouth Football Club will not be sacking Paul Hart.
Pompey have lost their opening seven games of the Premier League season, which is their worst start to a campaign for seventy-nine years.
This has led to speculation over the future of Hart, but following a 1-0 reverse to Everton, Storrie has told the Mail on Sunday the manager’s job is safe.
"How can you say Paul Hart will not remain after that performance?" said the chief executive. "It was the best this season and with a little luck we would have won 4-1."
