Kevin Phillips admits he is becoming frustrated at Birmingham City Football Club.

The veteran striker, one of the best goalscorers of the Premier League era, has made just one start for the Blues this season, although he has featured three times from the bench.

"I want to score goals and I've said how frustrated I am," Phillips told the Daily Mirror. "I'd like to play more minutes on the pitch, but that's the manager's decision.

"All I can do when I come on is try my hardest and try to score goals and give the manager (Alex McLeish) a bit of a problem and hopefully I've done that."
