Reports suggest Arsenal Football Club are to enter the race for Nigel Reo-Coker.

The midfielder had a much-publicised bust-up with Martin O’Neill recently, which many believe will result in his departure from Aston Villa in the New Year.

Everton, Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur have all been linked with the player, but the Daily Star claims Arsene Wenger is also interested in his signature.

The fee being bandied about for Reo-Coker is £3million, but Villa are likely to want more for a player they signed from West Ham United for £8.5million in July 2007.
