Lorik Cana is relishing the weekend trip to Manchester United Football Club.

The Sunderland skipper, a summer signing from Marseille, has never played at Old Trafford before, and he is out to stun the champions and prove his quality for the Black Cats.

"Of course, my experience in Europe will serve me well against them," Cana told safc.com. "It's something I must bring to the team. I never played against Manchester United.

“It will be my first time in the Stadium, but I have played against this kind of team before and at this level. I know what it is about, what our duties are and how we must play.

“We cannot go there just to play our part and be dull in midfield, putting no pressure on them. That makes things difficult and we have the qualities to play against them.”
