Hargreaves set for Manchester United role
06:15 PM 03 October, 2009
Owen Hargreaves will take Manchester United’s free-kicks when he returns to the team.

The England international has been out of action for over a year with knee problems, but he is back in training and set to take on Cristiano Ronaldo’s old job when he returns.

“Outside Cristiano Ronaldo, I don't think there is a better deliverer of set pieces than Owen," said Sir Alex Ferguson. "That is one of the areas in which he may help us more.

"Ronaldo could get three or four goals like that. We are still searching for someone else. If Owen can do it, that will be a bonus for us."
