Tomas Rosicky hopes to earn a new contract at Arsenal Football Club.

The Czech Republic is back in the first team after a lengthy injury lay-off, and he hopes to earn a new contract with his current deal set to expire at the end of the season.

"I spoke recently to the boss about a new contract," said Rosicky. "We haven't started negotiating yet and we'll see what happens.

"I want to stay and my fitness is getting better and better. You miss the UEFA Champions League and the Premier League when you are out for so long."
