Andy Reid is loving life at Sunderland Football Club this season.

The Republic of Ireland international is having a superb season at the Stadium of Light under Steve Bruce, and he feels he is playing the best football he has for some time.

“I love it here, I really do, things are going really well and it’s been good news all round,2 said Reid. “This is probably the happiest I have been since I joined Sunderland.

“I am very happy, but that all stems from results. We’ve had some good results, and for me this is definitely the best Sunderland team I have played in."
