And after the Dutchman played ninety minutes for the reserves this week, he is ready to resume his position as number one when Bolton Wanderers visit Old Trafford.

“I’ll be ready for Bolton. The match is still 10 days away so I have more training to do, then I will be ready for my first start of the season,” van der Sar told MUTV.
