Danny Pugh admits he is considering his future at Stoke City Football Club.

Although the midfielder has played in this season’s Carling Cup side, he has made just three substitute appearances in the Premier League.

"It hasn't been the best for me this season. I have either been in the stands, or on the bench in the league games, which is frustrating," Pugh told The Sentinel.

"I am at an age where I need to play football, but at the moment that is not happening, apart from the cup games. Last season I was getting in the team a bit more.

“But it's not really happened this season. It is nice to get cup games under your belt, but you need more than Carling Cup and reserve games."
