Adriano is not about to return to Italy with AC Milan, according to his agent.

The Rossoneri have made a poor start to the season, and coach Leonardo has been linked with a shock move for the former Internazionale striker in the New Year.

Adriano, one of the most talented strikers in world football when he is in the mood, left the Nerazzurri midway through last season due to his much-publicised problems.

Having scored 15 goals in 22 games for Flamengo in his homeland of Brazil it has been suggested Milan want him back in Italy, but his agent has dismissed the speculation.

"There are no negotiations for Adriano and all the news being spread is not true," Gilmar Rinaldi said in an interview with Globoesporte.
