Chris Iwelumo is delighted to be back in contention for Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club.

The 31-year-old Scotland international has been out of action with a knee injury since April, but he played 90 minutes of a reserves match earlier this week.

"I am buzzing and delighted to have secured my first full 90 minutes after what has been a long six months out of the game," Iwelumo told the Birmingham Mail.

"That is the longest spell of my career out through injury. Obviously the legs are a bit tired but I knew they would be. I am just delighted to get those 90 minutes under my belt."
