Yuri Zhirkov admits he is finding training at Chelsea Football Club a tad tiring.
The Russian international, an £18million signing from CSKA Moscow in the summer, had a delayed start to life in England due to a knee injury which saw him miss the start of the season.
Zhirkov is finally available to Carlo Ancelotti, but he has told the Sunday Mirror that he is finding training at the Stamford Bridge club different, and more tiring, to what he was used to.
“It’s different,” he said. “The training is harder. It’s a new team for me, and of course I’m getting tired. And I have to push myself to prove that I’m worth a place in the main squad.”
