Obertan close to Manchester United breakthrough
04:00 PM 12 October, 2009
Gabriel Obertan could be in Manchester United’s first team plans within four weeks.

The France Under-21 international, a relative unknown in England, was a surprise signing from Sir Alex Ferguson in the summer when he arrived from Bordeaux in a £3million deal.

However, Obertan has been unable to make his debut for the Reds yet due to a back injury, although he has stepped up his training over the past couple of weeks.

It is believed that the winger is close to making a full recovery from the injury, and he hopes to be involved for the Premier League champions by mid-November.

it'll be so good 2 see him in action cos we seems to be lacking in depth on the flank especially with one-dimensonal valencia and the ever-erratic nani now calling the shots. wellcome to o'trafford.
