Agger back to bolster Liverpool options
Kenny Dalglish is delighted to see Daniel Agger back available for Liverpool Football Club.
The Danish international has yet to play for the Reds this season due to a back injury, but he made his return for the reserves last week and is now available again for Rafael Benitez.
This is a huge boost for the Merseyside club who have already lost three Premier League games, and Dalglish, now working on the Anfield academy, is delighted to see Agger back.
“He's a top class defender, and with him nearing a return to the first-team reckoning then the manager has got good options and permutations,” he told LFC Magazine.
“Agger's a lovely silky footballer, in the way he brings the ball out of defence and commits teams who like to sit deep. Being able to call on him in the future will be important for the team."
