Nathan Ellington hopes to attract more interest from Blackburn Rovers Football Club in January.

The striker is out of favour at Watford, and after a trial spell with Rovers, he hopes to force his way into the Hornets side to tempt Sam Allardyce to bid for him in January.

"I think I've left a good imprint on (Blackburn's) minds," said Ellington.

"It's just how I do now while I'm at Watford, or wherever I am, how I do in the season. I think they could assess the situation further when the time comes."
