Alberto Aquilani can’t wait to score at Liverpool’s Kop End.

The Italian has not yet made his debut for the Reds following his £20million summer arrival due to an ankle injury, but he is closing in on Rafael Benitez’s first team plans.

"It's not been easy. I moved to a club in a different country and been unable to play or train," Aquilani told the club's official magazine. "It is not a good feeling when you are not involved.

“But it is my ambition to score at the Kop end. I've thought about it a lot during my rehab here. Anfield is a great stadium with a superb atmosphere. I can't wait to play in front of that crowd."
